Two powerful gabled roof forms establish the home’s identity, anchoring the design into the landscape and framing it’s entry sequence. Its steeply pitched roofs recall the familiar silhouettes of nearby cottages and traditional houses, yet their heightened proportions and staggered placement establish a more sculptural, contemporary presence. The exterior is composed with restraint via horizontal siding & dark-framed windows. Landscape elements reinforce the home’s crisp geometry, grounding the structure in its site & softening its edges.
