A speculative response to the growing demand of for-sale residential units on the Near Westside of Cleveland, this multi-site project takes advantage of the expansive skyline and industrial valley views that surround the neighborhood. Geometric subtractions from the cube shaped envelope and alternating materials serve multiple visual functions; breaking down the scale of the 3-story structure, shaping view corridors from the interior, and blurring the often severe datum between individual units. The palette is a direct reflection of the context organized through a modern lens in addition to the variations of brick, door and mortar color, and brick coursing.
